- forest bathing for beginners - fully clothed!

- woodland picnic with local specialities

A walk that features magnificent coastal views to Holy Island and Bamburgh, craggy rock outcrops and the chance to try out Forest Bathing followed by a woodland picnic with Northumberland specialities.

Forest Bathing is a relaxation technique with its origins in Japan where it is called Shinrin Yoku. Spending time being calm and quiet amongst trees can boost our health and wellbeing. Opening our senses to the sights, sounds and smells of woodland is therapeutic and the Kyloe Hills walk includes a section of majestic woodland with huge conifers including Monkey Puzzle (Araucaria araucana) and Sequoia.

This easy walk includes a short section along a quiet 'B' road.

  • Duration of walk - 3 - 4 hours (including picnic)

  • Length of walk - 5.5 miles (easy-moderate)

  • Cost Adult - £40

                Child -  £17
